Founded in 2016, Teamblue Entertainment is a Jamaican-born entertainment company dedicated to bringing Jamaican culture to the world. Through music, events, media and more, we create experiences that inspire, entertain and connect people worldwide.
The origins of Teamblue Entertainment trace back to 2016, when its founder, DJ Blue (Loye Wright), was inspired by a profound desire to share the rich musical heritage of his homeland, Jamaica, with audiences in Europe. Teamblue Entertainment is a collective of passionate individuals, including DJs, managers, administrators, and chefs, all dedicated to bringing an authentic Jamaican experience to the world. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, DJ Blue migrated to Europe in 2015, where he began laying the foundation for what would become Teamblue Entertainment. From the outset, the group’s mission has been to deliver a comprehensive and immersive Jamaican experience. A cornerstone of this mission was the launch of Teamblue Entertainment Radio, which remains active today at teamblueentertainment.com. Initially, DJs from across the globe participated in the station’s debut, and it continues to broadcast mixtapes spanning a wide array of musical genres that reflect the vibrant sounds of Jamaica. The website also features interviews with renowned music personalities such as Marcia Griffiths, Ginjah, and Aza Lineage, providing visitors with insights into the Jamaican music scene. In its latest venture, Teamblue Entertainment unveiled the first-ever mobile car sound system of its kind in June 2023. This innovative project was launched at Summer Jam in Germany, marking another milestone in Teamblue’s journey to share the soul of Jamaican culture with the world.
